Public Parking Advisory – 2015 Indy GP of Louisiana


Parking at Segnette Field is full for the Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana today at NOLA Motorsports Park. Fans are asked to park at the Avondale Shipyard or the Lapalco Neutral Ground.

Spectator gates open at 7:45 a.m. at NOLA Motorsports Park. We hope you enjoy an exciting, fantastic race day!

Public parking for the inaugural Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana, held at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, LA, will be off-site at the LaPalco Boulevard Neutral Ground, Segnette Field, and the Avondale Shipyard (Saturday and Sunday only).

Parking will cost $20 per car per day (CASH ONLY) and includes free bus shuttle transportation to and from NOLA Motorsports Park with service from 7:30am until 8:00pm. Separate shuttles will be running from Harrah’s Casino to and from the track for $5 round-trip (CASH ONLY) with service from 7:00am until 7:00pm. Taxi drop-off and ADA parking will be at Segnette Field, where an ADA Accessible shuttle will be available.

There is NO Public Parking available on-site at NOLA Motorsports Park for event weekend.

Access to the event site is restricted to credentialed vehicles only at all times. Access to Nicolle Boulevard will be limited to credentialed vehicles only, during certain times during the event weekend. Certain items are prohibited inside the event. Public Parking and Shuttle System:

Public attending the event have the option of parking at the following locations:

  • Lapalco Neutral Ground 7:30a to 8:00p Friday -Sunday  – $20/car per day CASH ONLY
  • Avondale Shipyard 7:30a to 8:00p Saturday & Sunday ONLY – $20/car per day CASH ONLY
  • Segnette Field 7:30a to 8:00p Friday-­‐Sunday  – $20/car per day CASH ONLY
    ~ Preferred ADA parking, Taxi-­‐drop off, & Public Parking 
  • Harrah’s Hotel & Casino  7a to 7p Friday-­‐Sunday  – $5/person CASH ONLY round-­‐trip

Public parking guests will receive a reminder card to remind them what their parking location is.
